I'm Honza Bittner, a Flutter developer from Prague. I build mobile apps for a living, and I studied software engineering at FIT CTU (Ing.).

Now

Most of my days go to Flutter apps: their architecture, their tests and the tooling around them. Lately I spend a lot of time finding out where AI helps and where it gets in the way.

Projects

  • auto_mappr: Code generation for Dart object mapping. Eliminates boilerplate DTO-to-model conversions with compile-time safety and zero runtime overhead.
  • bloc: Predictable state management library implementing the BLoC design pattern for Dart and Flutter.
  • effective_dart: Linter rules based on official Dart guidelines for consistent, idiomatic Dart code.
  • tenhobi.dev: This site — personal portfolio and blog built with Jaspr, a Dart web framework.
